The project is located at Fuqing Rongqiao Economic and Technological Development Zone. It plans to introduce upstream and downstream industrial chains such as electric new energy vehicle power batteries, battery cell diaphragm, decorative components, braking systems, transmission systems, electronic control systems, and in-car navigation, as well as productive service industry projects such as technology innovation industrialization incubation platform, technology achievement transfer and transformation center, and industry research center. The fixed-asset investment intensity of the project shall not be less than RMB 4.5 million per mu; the annual tax revenue per mu upon full production capacity shall not be less than RMB 400,000 per mu; the annual industrial output value per mu upon full production capacity shall not be less than RMB 6 million per mu.

The year-on-year growth in industrial value-added was 12.9%, achieving an operating revenue of RMB 1,251.44 billion, a year-on-year increase of 7.7%. It is a national hub for major engineering machinery manufacturing, large and medium-sized bus manufacturing, large commercial aircraft maintenance, shipbuilding and repair, and small and medium-sized motor manufacturing.
