The planning area is 4458.9 mu, of which the industrial land area is 1171.2 mu. The planning scope extends to Chuanzhong Village in the east, extends to the southwest foot of Yangzhong Village with the vertical three lines as the boundary well in the west, to Taoyuanxi Heqiqiao Hydropower Station in the south, and to Quning Railway Zhouning Station in the north: the park is based on Hengning Railway Zhouning Station and the vertical third line, scientific Plan the layout of the land to realise functional perfection, harmony and unification, and build a modern ecological industry and trade science and technology park integrating industrial warehousing and comprehensive support with Ningde SAIC, new energy science and technology as the leader. At present, there are 9 factories in the first phase of plot No. 1 and plot No. 2 and 3 are attracting investment.

In 2025, Fujian Province had 4,975 above-designated-size machinery and equipment enterprises. The year-on-year growth in industrial value-added was 12.9%, achieving an operating revenue of RMB 1,251.44 billion, a year-on-year increase of 7.7%. The advanced equipment manufacturing cluster possesses a number of advantageous specialty products and industries. It is a national hub for major engineering machinery manufacturing, large and medium-sized bus manufacturing, large commercial aircraft maintenance, shipbuilding and repair, and small and medium-sized motor manufacturing. Fujian's electric vessel sector, with advantages such as a complete industry chain, core equipment market share exceeding 40%, and a leading number of built and under-construction certified electric vessels nationwide, has established multi-dimensional leadership in policy, technology, and application scenarios.
