Content and Scale：

Plans are in place to establish a second breeding farm for Hetian chicken, covering 45 mu of land, with 8 chick-rearing houses and hen-breeding houses. A dedicated Hetian chicken feed processing plant, covering an area of 50 mu, will be built, with an annual output capacity of 500,000 tons of specialized feed. Ten expansion (parental breeding) farms, with an annual production capacity of over 3 million commercial chicks, will also be developed, along with 50 standardized breeding farms producing over 100,000 chickens annually. A Hetian-chicken prepared dish processing plant will be built at the Jinjiang (Changting) Industrial Park. Additionally, two standardized slaughter lines for Hetian chickens, with a total annual capacity of 13 million chickens, will be built, along with a quality testing center covering 20 mu of land.

In 2025, Fujian Province had 2,548 above-designated-size food industry enterprises, achieving an operating revenue of RMB 416.603 billion. A relatively complete industrial system has been cultivated, encompassing agricultural and sideline food processing, snack food manufacturing, and the manufacturing of alcoholic beverages and refined tea. Several distinctive industries, such as fruit and vegetable processing, baked goods, candy, canned food, refined tea manufacturing, and edible fungi, hold leading positions nationwide. Anxi Tieguanyin tea and Wuyi Rock Tea have been selected for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's first batch of key cultivation list.
