Content and Scale：

A 15,000-mu snack material planting and breeding base is planned to be built in Xiamao Town, Shaxian District, including 2,000 mu of betel-nut taro, 3,000 mu of mustard, 2,000 mu of edible fungi, 5,000 mu of rice, 3,000 mu of anoectochilus formosanus, Ningpo yam rhizome, ficus simplicissima, and dendrobium officinale, etc. A 300-mu area will be built for the concentrated processing of rice, vegetables, Chinese medicinal herbs, and snack seasonings.

In 2025, Fujian Province had 2,548 above-designated-size food industry enterprises, achieving an operating revenue of RMB 416.603 billion. A relatively complete industrial system has been cultivated, encompassing agricultural and sideline food processing, snack food manufacturing, and the manufacturing of alcoholic beverages and refined tea. Several distinctive industries, such as fruit and vegetable processing, baked goods, candy, canned food, refined tea manufacturing, and edible fungi, hold leading positions nationwide. Anxi Tieguanyin tea and Wuyi Rock Tea have been selected for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's first batch of key cultivation list.
