The new National Modern Agricultural Industrial Park in Liancheng County, Fujian Province, with a total planned area of 837,600 mu. The main construction contents are as follows:
1. Construction project of standardized production base: mainly the construction of standardized planting base of high-quality and efficient sweet potato, the construction of selenium-rich sweet potato planting base, and the transformation and upgrading project of sweet potato green food raw material base;
2. Industrial integration development to promote engineering: mainly together purple heart potato industry annual output of 35000 tons of functional food, linking the potato king annual output of 9000 tons of sweet potato series food production line construction, liancheng-zengcheng prefabricated vegetable industrial park, "potato exchange" digital trading center, liancheng county food processing professional garden phase ii, China linking sweet potato town construction project;
3. Agricultural science and technology support projects: mainly the construction of sweet potato breeding and propagation center in southern China, sweet potato science and technology RESEARCH and development center, construction of smart agricultural base, acquisition of agricultural product quality and safety testing instruments, demonstration and promotion projects of new agricultural machinery and tools;
4. Green development and transformation project: mainly monitoring, early warning and prevention of sweet potato diseases and insects, and Liancheng sweet potato characteristic brand cultivation project;
5. Agricultural Benefit Project: Cultivation project of new business entities.

In 2025, Fujian Province had 2,548 above-designated-size food industry enterprises, achieving an operating revenue of RMB 416.603 billion. A relatively complete industrial system has been cultivated, encompassing agricultural and sideline food processing, snack food manufacturing, and the manufacturing of alcoholic beverages and refined tea. Several distinctive industries, such as fruit and vegetable processing, baked goods, candy, canned food, refined tea manufacturing, and edible fungi, hold leading positions nationwide. Anxi Tieguanyin tea and Wuyi Rock Tea have been selected for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's first batch of key cultivation list.
