Xiamen Tong'an Light Industry and Food Industrial Park covers an area of 4.5 square kilometers. It is located in Tong'an District. It is close to Tongji Road, Haixiang Avenue and Shenhai Expressway. It is only 1km away from the entrance of Fuzhou Expressway, about 25km away from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport and 30km away from Xiamen Dongdu Port. The Park focuses on the development of canned food, meat products, beverage, fruit and vegetable processing, traditional Chinese medicine health care, medical logistics and other food and medicine production and logistics distribution. The park has complete supporting facilities such as water and electricity, communications, and heating. There is a food technology research and development testing center and a food incubator in the park.

In 2025, Fujian Province had 2,548 above-designated-size food industry enterprises, achieving an operating revenue of RMB 416.603 billion. A relatively complete industrial system has been cultivated, encompassing agricultural and sideline food processing, snack food manufacturing, and the manufacturing of alcoholic beverages and refined tea. Several distinctive industries, such as fruit and vegetable processing, baked goods, candy, canned food, refined tea manufacturing, and edible fungi, hold leading positions nationwide. Anxi Tieguanyin tea and Wuyi Rock Tea have been selected for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's first batch of key cultivation list.
