The total construction area covers 33,000 square meters. The project involves the construction of 2 production workshops equipped with ventilation, dust removal and explosion-proof facilities, 1 raw material warehouse with moisture-proof and anti-corrosion design, 1 finished product warehouse, and 1 wastewater treatment station building with a daily treatment capacity of 500 tons. A total of 80 sets of new twin-screw extruders, precision injection molding machines and other equipment will be purchased, together with a supporting solid waste recovery system boasting a recovery rate of 90%. The project focuses on the development of biodegradable food packaging materials and lightweight plastic components for automobiles. Upon reaching full production capacity, the annual output will hit 200,000 tons. All products comply with national environmental standards and will drive the green transformation of the plastics industry.

The development of Fujian's new materials industry is accelerating, with increasing industrial clustering effects, gradual improvement of the innovation system, and continuous enrichment of new material varieties. A group of leading backbone enterprises has been cultivated, including CATL, San'an Optoelectronics, Wanhua Chemical (Fujian), Xiamen Tungsten, Fuyao Glass, Tsingshan Group, Zijin Mining Group, Highsun Group, and Eversun Group. Leveraging the driving role of these leading enterprises, Fujian has established a number of distinctive new materials clusters with certain influence domestically and internationally, focusing on optoelectronic information materials, advanced chemical materials, new energy materials, advanced non-ferrous metal materials, rare earth new materials, stainless steel, and advanced textile functional materials. 4 industrial clusters have been selected as national-level characteristic clusters for small and medium-sized enterprises: the Fuzhou Changle Textile New Materials Cluster, the Shaowu Fluorine New Materials Cluster, the Jinjiang Sports Shoes Raw and Auxiliary Materials Cluster, and the Wuping Display Module and Material Manufacturing Cluster. The Ningde Wanwu Stainless Steel Industrial Park has been recognized as a national-level new industrialization demonstration base.
