Construction Scale and Content The planned land area is 630 mu with a construction land area of 420,000 square meters. Positioned as a high-standard industrial park for medical device intelligent manufacturing base, the park focuses on developing intensive processing and application industrial chains covering medical consumables, in-vitro diagnosis, medical equipment, rehabilitation devices, medical software and biomedicine. Construction Rationale & Supporting Conditions The medical device industry has ushered in a golden development period and will remain one of the fastest-growing industries worldwide in the long run. Changting County adopts the strategy of "building nests to attract phoenixes" and invests RMB 1.12 billion in total to build two well-supported medical device industrial parks with first-class services. Up to now, the county has signed and introduced 69 medical device manufacturers, among which 31 settled enterprises have obtained production certificates and put into production successively. In 2021, Fujian Provincial People’s Government included Minxi (Changting) Medical Device Industrial Park in the provincial 14th Five-Year Plan for High-quality Manufacturing Development. In 2022, the provincial government listed the park as one of the characteristic layouts of "two cores and multiple zones" for high-quality development of Fujian’s biomedicine industry.
