Construction Scale and Content 200 mu of new land will be expropriated, with a total land area of 102,006 square meters and total construction area of 87,856 square meters. After completion, the project will form an annual production capacity of 60,000 tons of magnesium metal and 100,000 tons of magnesium alloy. Production facilities include open-pit ore yard, open calcination workshop, raw material treatment workshop, reduction workshop, refining workshop, surface treatment workshop and magnesium alloy production workshops. Auxiliary facilities include calcined white warehouse, comprehensive raw material warehouse, finished product warehouse, power distribution room and sewage treatment station. Public utility facilities include waste heat boiler, flue gas softened water station, temporary storage tank, coal yard, water storage tank, cooling water tank, steam injection pump station and collecting basin. Office and living facilities include office building, staff dormitory, canteen, bathhouse and other supporting buildings. Construction Rationale & Supporting Conditions Magnesium metal and magnesium alloys are core lightweight new materials widely used in new energy vehicles, aerospace, rail transit, 3C electronics and high-end equipment manufacturing. They are key supported by national industrial policies with continuously surging downstream market demand. The surrounding areas of Miaoqian Town have complete supporting magnesium raw material resources. The industrial park has strong carrying capacity and complete supporting facilities including road network, power supply, heat supply and water supply with superior business environment, satisfying construction conditions for large-scale new material projects.
