On 26th December 2017, San’an High-End Semi-Conductor Project, which named “Quanzhou Chip Village”, has start to build in Shijing town, Nan’an City. As the key and major project of “Quanzhou Chip Village”, it marks the beginning of “Quanzhou Chip Village”.

According to the introducing, the total investment amount of San’an project ran up to 33.3 billion RMB, the project plans to put into operation within 5 years and reach target output within 7 years, and expect to achieve 27 billion RMB in annual sales revenue.

In order to seize the strategic opportunity of encourage and support from the state in developing the semi-conductor industry, meanwhile, combine with the 13th Five-Year Plan, the planning of build Fujian (Quanzhou) Semi-Conductor Hi-Tech Industrial Zone, namely Quanzhou Chip Village, and foster a 100 billion-yuan industrial clusters has been proposed by Quanzhou. Quanzhou Chip Village has the planning area of about 60 square kilometers, include Nan’an Hi-Tech Industrial Park, Jinjiang Integrated Circuit Industrial Park and Anxi (Hutou) Photoelectricity Industrial Park. As the core area of Quanzhou Chip Village, Nan’an Park will focus on the development of compound semi-conductor, gather the upstream and downstream enterprises of industrial chain, and eventually forge the compound semi-conductor whole industrial chain system.
