On 12th December 2017, 2017 Working Conference on Industrial Clusters of China's Industrial Textile Industry has been held in Youxi, Fujian. 

The experts and scholars delivered the keynote speeches on the topics of Innovation and Future Development of Textile Technology and Science, Analysis of China's Macro Economic Situation and Trend, and the Reform and Development of Leather Industry at the meeting. Representatives from 14 industrial clusters across the country are eager to introduce the development circumstances in 2017, exchange the experience in following aspects, for instance, the government drive to develop industry, industrial zone and public service platform, and support the development of key enterprises and etc.

Youxi county is known as China Famous Leather City and China Famous Blended Yarn City, textile industry has already become the first pillar industry in Youxi. It is understood that so far there are 14 industrial clusters in China's industrial textile industry, Youxi is the one and only representative from Fujian.
