On October 8, Zherong County convened a countywide investment promotion conference. A number of key projects were signed in a batch, while government–bank–business matchmaking also got underway.

Projects signed that day included the Zherong Science and Technology Innovation Park, the Jiuji Pneumatic Air-Bladder Pump R&D Center, Helius New Energy entrusted management, Yuchacun Matcha, Hongcheng Stainless Steel, Tianxi Stainless Steel, and Jifu's off-site relocation, expansion, and renovation. In addition, multiple batches of e-commerce projects were signed, covering sectors such as science and technology innovation and R&D, advanced manufacturing, specialty agriculture, and digital e-commerce. These projects included both outside enterprises establishing operations in the county and local enterprises increasing capital and expanding production capacity.

During the presentation session, officials in charge of the Zherong County Investment Promotion Center, the county bureau of industry and information technology, and other departments took the stage in turn to break down and clearly present Zherong's industry landscape, resource endowments, development opportunities, and potential for cooperation. That afternoon, Zherong County also held a government–bank–business matchmaking meeting focused on investment promotion, where government representatives, banks, and businesses met face to face to discuss financing, project implementation, and services.
