On September 22, the 2026 Fujian Cultural and Tourism Enterprises and Financial Institutions Matchmaking and Exchange Event was successfully held in Fuzhou. Vice Governor Jiang Erxiong attended the event and delivered a speech.

Jiang Erxiong pointed out that the cultural and tourism industry is a comprehensive sector that plays a vital role in expanding domestic demand, stimulating consumption, stabilizing employment, and improving people's livelihoods. This year marks the beginning of the 15th Five-Year Plan and is a crucial year for our province to accelerate the development of a culturally strong province at a higher level, build a world-renowned tourist destination, and cultivate the cultural and tourism industry as a pillar sector. She expressed the hope that cultural and tourism enterprises will strengthen their internal capabilities and grow stronger as market entities, creating more high-quality projects that combine distinctive Fujian-style (Min) characteristics with market competitiveness, thereby making more capital willing to invest and invest with confidence; she recommended that financial institutions innovate their offerings and provide targeted support by continuously optimizing financial products, increasing the scale of credit, and stepping up support for major cultural and tourism projects, micro, small, and medium-sized cultural and tourism enterprises, rural stays, and digital cultural tourism; and she urged all relevant departments to build bridges and provide dedicated services by continuously improving the regular coordination mechanism among government, banks, and enterprises, effectively identifying and promoting high-quality cultural and tourism projects, improving the credit system for cultural and tourism enterprises, implementing various business-friendly policies, and focusing on resolving financing bottlenecks and difficulties for cultural and tourism projects.

It is reported that a total of 29 key cultural and tourism projects secured cooperation agreements at this event, with a total financing volume of 7.214 billion yuan. The funding prioritizes areas such as digital cultural and tourism, the integration of culture, commerce, and tourism, the revitalization of World Heritage sites, and rural cultural and tourism, thereby injecting strong capital momentum into the implementation of major projects and providing relief to micro, small, and medium-sized cultural and tourism entities.

The event was jointly organized by the Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Fujian Financial Regulatory Bureau, the People's Bank of China Fujian Branch, and the Financial Affairs Office of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee. More than 200 people attended the event, including representatives from relevant provincial-level agencies, financial institutions, and industrial investment funds, as well as cultural and tourism departments from the nine cities and one zone, key cultural and tourism enterprises within the province, and the media.
