On December 4, 2025, the 2025 China Energy Storage CEO Summit was held in Xiamen. Organized by the Zhongguancun Energy Storage Industry Technology Alliance, the summit brought together over a hundred guests from government, industry, and academia to discuss new opportunities and challenges in the development of the energy storage industry.

Chen Haisheng, Chairman of the Zhongguancun Energy Storage Industry Technology Alliance and Director of the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, pointed out that since the inception of the 14th Five-Year Plan period, China's installed energy storage capacity has continued to lead globally, with technical routes diversifying and application scenarios accelerating their penetration from singular grid regulation to comprehensive, all-scenario uses. The industry is transforming into solutions that empower a wide range of sectors and deliver diversified value. Meanwhile, the development of high-tech industries such as artificial intelligence is opening up a broad market for new types of energy storage.

Currently, Xiamen is striving to establish itself as a hub for innovation in the new energy storage industry and to build a city renowned for innovation in the new energy sector. Its progress in energy storage development has drawn keen attention from the summit participants. Zheng Nanfeng, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Dean of the College of Energy at Xiamen University, and Director of the Tan Kah Kee Innovation Laboratory, stated that breakthroughs in cutting-edge energy storage technologies depend on deep integration across industry, academia, and research. Zheng emphasized the urgent need to dismantle barriers among these sectors and to foster a new ecosystem for collaborative talent development through multiple avenues, including integrating industry with education, combining scientific research with teaching, and linking competitions with academic training. "We hope to work with all sectors to jointly advance technological innovation in energy storage and cultivate more interdisciplinary talents with a global perspective and innovative capabilities," Zheng said.

As a leading enterprise in Xiamen's energy storage sector, Kehua Data Co., Ltd. sees the products and services of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kehua Digital Energy Tech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Kehua Digital Energy"), now reaching over 100 countries and regions worldwide. Chen Chenghui, Chairman of Kehua Data, noted that in recent years, Kehua Digital Energy has concentrated on providing all-scenario solutions while consistently increasing its investment in research and development. Chen stated that to navigate the waves of globalization, companies must not only seize opportunities with keen insight but also adopt a dual strategy: wielding technological innovation as a spear to break through barriers and using standards-based collaboration as a shield to ensure robust development, thereby systematically overcoming bottlenecks.
