On November 27, the 2025 Fujian Top 100 Enterprises release conference took place in Minhou County, Fuzhou City, under the theme “Top 100 Enterprises Set Benchmarks; Technological Self-Strengthening Promotes Development”. The conference unveiled four major rankings: 2025 Fujian Top 100 Enterprises, Fujian Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises, Fujian Top 100 Service Enterprises, and Fujian Top 100 Strategic Emerging Industry Enterprises.
The latest data from the 2025 Fujian Top 100 Enterprises List highlights continued economic recovery and strong performance among major enterprises, with multiple indicators showing positive trends: 1) Entry threshold hit a record high of RMB 10.6 billion, making Fujian one of only six provinces nationwide where the Top 100 list requires over RMB 10 billion in revenue; 2) Total assets of Top 100 firms grew for the seventh straight year, signaling sustained expansion; 3) Profits of the Top 100 Manufacturing firms surged 16.5% year-on-year, reflecting robust industrial growth; 4) Employment of Top 100 Service firms exceeded 900,000, reaching 901,700 jobs, underscoring their roles as major job creators; 5) Top 100 Strategic Emerging Industry firms ramped up R&D spending, with total investment up 45.11% year-on-year and average R&D expenditure surpassing RMB 200 million per company, showcasing firm innovation resilience.
The Fujian Top 100 Enterprises list is widely regarded as a key economic barometer and industry trendsetter. Since its inception, the Fujian Enterprise and Entrepreneurs Confederation has released the rankings publicly for 8 consecutive years. This year’s lists were led by the Fujian Enterprise and Entrepreneurs Confederation and compiled in collaboration with the Fujian Academy of Social Sciences, Fujian Daily, and Fujian Media Group. They followed internationally accepted practices, using 2024 operating revenue as the benchmark for qualification. The four lists were reviewed and finalized before their release.
