On the morning of November 8, the Symposium on "Fujianese Chambers of Commerce Outside Fujian" (South China Region) was held in Shenzhen. The meeting thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, supported the implementation of the strategy of building a strong private economy province in the new era, and, on the occasion of the leadership transition of the Shenzhen Fujian Chamber of Commerce, carried out investment promotion, project matchmaking, and collected leads for the "Return" initiative targeting the Fujianese Chambers of Commerce located in the South China region. Huang Ruxin, Vice Chairman of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), attended and delivered a speech. The meeting was presided over by Chen Xi, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Fujian Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce. Chen Qi, Second-level Inspector of the Fujian Provincial Department of Commerce, presented on Fujian's investment environment and promotion policies. More than 70 people attended the symposium, including presidents of provincial-level Fujian Chambers of Commerce from the South China region and other provinces, as well as responsible persons of Fujianese Chambers of Commerce from various prefecture-level cities within Guangdong Province.

At the meeting, responsible persons from the Fujianese Chambers of Commerce Outside Fujian shared and exchanged views on their member enterprises' industrial layout, investment intentions for the "Return" initiative, and project needs. All participants agreed that there is great potential and opportunity for the return of Fujianese entrepreneurs. They stated that the Fujian Chambers of Commerce would further strengthen their role as a bridge and link, enhance efforts in both external attraction and internal connectivity, and drive more Fujianese entrepreneurs to return and invest in Fujian.

On the afternoon of November 8, the Inauguration Ceremony for the Eighth Board of Directors and Supervisors of the Shenzhen Fujian Chamber of Commerce was grandly held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. Attendees included Huang Ruxin, Vice Chairman of the Fujian Provincial CPPCC; Chen Xi, CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Fujian Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce; Liu Junlin, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Shenzhen Federation of Industry and Commerce; and Chen Qi, Second-level Inspector of the Fujian Provincial Department of Commerce. They exchanged views with attending entrepreneurs and representatives from the Shenzhen Municipal Commerce Bureau.

Next, the Provincial Investment Promotion Bureau will further implement the regular investment promotion and liaison mechanism targeting Fujianese Chambers of Commerce outside the province, deepen the exploration of convergence points between the investment priorities of Fujianese entrepreneurs outside Fujian and the province's industrial development, facilitate the return and implementation of more business projects by Fujianese entrepreneurs, and contribute to building a new Fujian in the new era.
