The Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology has unveiled a new lineup of 24 textile, footwear, and apparel products set for release in 2025.

Among the new entries, Fuzhou contributes 10 products, including Eversun Jinjiang's "post-consumer recycled nylon 6 fiber yarn E-SUNLON^TM", KaiBang Nylon's "Marine Active Nylon Fiber", and Xinhuayuan Textile's "Lyocell-Nylon Flexible High-count Yarn". Quanzhou also adds 10 products, featuring SinceTech's "Warp-Knitted Jacquard Layered Shoe Upper", Fountain Set's "Moisture-Wicking, Quick-Dry 5A Antibacterial Sorona Fabric", and Foody Fiber's "Mildly Acidic, Antibacterial, Weakly Hydrophilic ES Fiber". Putian presents 3 products, such as Xin Rui New Material's "Supercritical Fluid Foamed Shoe Midsole", Wodi Yinfeng's "VOIT Rapid Flow Running Shoes", and Xinxiang's "Ultra-Slip, Waterproof Shoelaces". Nanping offers one product: Fujian Energy & Petrochemical Nanfang's "Antibacterial and Antiviral Functional Sanitary Protective Layer".

The textile, footwear, and apparel sector is a vital part of Fujian's economy. The Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology has been pushing for innovation and the development of new products within the industry. So far, nearly 100 new items have been launched over 4 rounds, spanning both the upstream and downstream segments of the supply chain. Notably, around 60% of these manufacturers are leading enterprises in the province, and about 50% are specialized and innovative companies. From January to September 2025, research and development expenses for textile, footwear, and apparel enterprises above the designated size in Fujian rose by 4.8% compared to the previous year.
