On the morning of June 27, a centralized signing ceremony for cultural tourism investment projects was held in Anxi County, Quanzhou City.
Wu Yuzhou, Secretary of the CPC Anxi County Committee, stated that signing the project agreement marks only the beginning of cooperation; only by working together towards a common goal can a win-win outcome be achieved. Anxi will continue to uphold the philosophy of valuing, supporting, and empowering businesses. With utmost sincerity, high-quality service, and maximum efficiency, the county is committed to safeguarding and assisting all entrepreneurs investing and establishing businesses in Anxi, ensuring that projects are launched, flourish, and yield results as early as possible. At the same time, Secretary Wu expressed hope that all entrepreneurs will continue to trust in Anxi, remain committed to its development, and contribute to its growth. He called on everyone to join hands, seize the opportunities in cultural and tourism development, and work together to create a bright future for Anxi’s cultural and tourism sector.
During the signing ceremony, 13 projects—including the Aerospace Technology Themed Educational and Cultural Tourism Base, the World Gem Museum, Xihe Mountain Crystal Tower, Hongqiao Hot Spring Ecotourism Area, Zhuangyuan Kui Tea Cultural Tourism Manor, and Mingshan Tea Tourism Complex—were collectively signed, with a total investment of RMB 5.94 billion. With their diverse formats and distinctive features, these projects are expected to further support Anxi County in expanding, strengthening, and upgrading its cultural tourism economy, and accelerate the high-quality development of the local cultural tourism industry.
In recent years, Anxi County has focused on promoting tourism through culture and showcasing culture through tourism, vigorously developing its cultural tourism economy. The county has established several popular internet-famous attractions, including the Xihe Mountain Tieguanyin Cultural Park, Qingshuiyan Hot Spring Resort, and Jingu Creek Art Village. These sites have inspired culinary experiences such as the Chancellor’s Feast, Tieguanyin Tea Cuisine, and Creek Fish Banquet. Anxi has also built a distinctive cultural tourism identity based on its “Three Tieguanyin and Three World Heritage Sites”. Last year, the county welcomed over 9 million visitors, generating tourism revenue of more than RMB 10 billion.
