On October 26th, the Internet Society of China held the China Internet Enterprise Comprehensive Strength Index (2023) Press Conference and the Forum on Top 100 Enterprises in Xiamen. At the conference, the Report on “China Internet Enterprise Comprehensive Strength Index (2023)” was released together with the lists of the 2023 Top 100 Chinese Internet Enterprises Based on Comprehensive Strength, the 2023 Top 20 Growing Internet Enterprises in China, and the Top 5 Data Security Service Providers.

Fujian companies, Meitu Inc., Fujian NetDragon Computer Network Information Technology Co., Ltd., 4399 Network Co., Ltd., Fujian Boss Software Corp., Xiamen G-bits Network Technology Co., Ltd., and Fujian Youlong Network Technology Co., Ltd. make the list of the Top 100 Chinese Internet Enterprises Based on Comprehensive Strength. Xiamen Taqu Information Technology Co., Ltd., Xiamen KuaiKuai Network Technology Co., Ltd., Fujian Dadaocheng Logistics Technology Co., Ltd., Xiamen Jikuai Technology Co., Ltd., Linewell Software Group Co., Ltd., and Xiamen Zhonglian Century Co., Ltd., rank among the Top 20 Growing Internet Enterprises in China.

With its leading AI technology and strong growth in performance, Meitu Inc. ranks first among the Fujian Internet companies that make the list and ranks 32nd on the list. This is also the seventh consecutive year that Meitu Inc. has been selected for the list.

Among the Top 20 Growing Internet Enterprises, Fujian companies accounted for six, four of which are Xiamen companies, reflecting a strong growth momentum in the Internet industry in Fujian, especially in Xiamen.

“Fujian Province has a relatively good development foundation for the digital economy, and it has been the host of the Digital China Summit. Each year, experts of think tanks and industry representatives gather in Fuzhou to discuss the development of the digital economy and its technological applications. Fujian has great potential for the development of the digital economy,” said Pei Wei, Deputy Secretary-General of the Internet Society of China.

From domain names to anime games, e-commerce platforms, online live streaming, and the metaverse, Xiamen has seized every opportunity brought by the Internet transformation and has continuously brought vitality to the development of the industry. Today, the scale of Xiamen’s digital economy has reached 479 billion yuan, accounting for 61% of GDP. The Internet industry continues to grow rapidly, and the construction of Internet industry carriers and infrastructure has been stepped up. The software park has an area of nearly 10 square kilometers with over 13,000 registered companies. Xiamen has been rated as a national “gigabit city” and has built over 14,000 5G base stations. In this city, the household fiber-optic network coverage rate has reached 100%.
