The 22nd China International Fair for Investment and Trade kicks off in Xiamen city on Sept 8, themed on "global development: sharing digital opportunities, investing in green future".
The 2022 Dialogue on the Digital Economy of BRICS – Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa – kicked off in Xiamen city, East China's Fujian province on Sept 8 to further promote digital economy exchanges and cooperation with BRICS countries and advance the comprehensive strategic partnership.
With the theme of "Sharing New Opportunities for the Development of digital Economy", the conference held an in-depth dialogue on the common development and progress of digital economy cooperation, industrial digital transformation and digital model innovation.
It's sponsored by the Department of E-commerce and Informatization at the Ministry of Commerce, Department of Commerce of Fujian province and Xiamen municipal government to carry out follow-up activities of the BRICS Summit, which was held on Jun 23.
Yusuf Timol, Minister (Economic) at the Embassy of South Africa in Beijing, delivers a speech on South Africa's digital economy and its cooperation with China during the 2022 Dialogue on Digital Economy of BRICS.
A total of nearly 200 important guests were invited and gave their speeches on the digital economy of BRICS nations.
What's more, a panel discussion themed on "Sharing Development Dividends, Prospects of BRICS Cooperation on Digital Economy" was organized. Participants shared their prospects of future cooperation on digital economy between BRICS nations.
