South Korea, Hong Kong, Ecuador, and the Solomon Islands, a Pacific island country, will hold investment promotion events to lure investors during the 22nd China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT).
As a platform to promote reciprocal investment, CIFIT has become one of the most influential international investment events, attracting institutions from all over the world. This year, the fair will be held in Xiamen, a city located in East China’s Fujian province, from Sept 8 to 11.
The investment promotion events of South Korea and Hong Kong are scheduled for Sept 8 while the events of Ecuador and the Solomon Islands are on Sept 9. All of the four events will be held at the Xiamen International Conference Exhibition Center.
South Korea will attend this year's CIFIT as the guest country of honor. At the event on Sept 8, investment promotion officials from South Korea will introduce the country’s investment environment and industrial development, with a focus on the semiconductor and chemistry industries.
Companies looking to go public and invest in Hong Kong are invited to attend Hong Kong’s event. Promotional activities for Hong Kong’s business environment and supporting policies will take place, and Q&A sessions will also be held.
China and Ecuador are valuable trade partners. Ecuador’s event will introduce the country’s investment environment and incentive policies and offer a chance for potential investors to communicate with government officials directly.
The investment promotion event held by the Solomon Islands’ embassy in China will present the investment and trade opportunities provided by the Solomon Islands and other Pacific island countries to Chinese companies.
