The Minhou Economic and Technological Development Zone project is located in the western suburbs of Fuzhou, 10 kilometers away from the city center. It is bordered by Fuzhou urban area to the east, Minhou County to the west, the south bank of the Min River to the south, and Guanshui Guanyuanli to the north. The Ganze area of the Minhou Economic and Technological Development Zone (Phase I, II, and III) covers approximately 3101.24 mu, with 94 enterprises having acquired land, among which 93 have been completed and 1 is planned to start construction (Jinfu Motor Vehicles). There are a total of 360 enterprises in the zone, including 83 large-scale industrial enterprises, 1 large-scale service enterprise, and 6 large-scale wholesale and retail enterprises in the Ganze warehouse. There are 44 national high-tech enterprises and 14 spe
cialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative enterprises. There are currently about 100,000 square meters of vacant factory buildings, and the plan is to introduce key industries such as high-end equipment manufacturing and optical and electronic industries to promote the rapid development of the regional economy.

Advanced Equipment Manufacturing Industry
In 2024, Fujian Province had 4,866 machinery equipment enterprises above the designated size, with industrial added value growing by 4.6% year-on-year and operating revenue reaching RMB 1,187.15 billion, a 1.8% increase year-on-year.
Biological & New Pharmaceutical Industry
In 2024, Fujian Province had 344 pharmaceutical enterprises above designated size, generating a total revenue of RMB 60.84 billion. Our province has established a relatively comprehensive pharmaceutical industrial system, covering categories such as chemical APIs (active pharmaceutical ingredients), chemical drug preparations, biopharmaceuticals, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) preparations, TCM decoction pieces, and medical devices. The biopharmaceutical industry in Fujian Province is primarily concentrated in Xiamen, Sanming, Fuzhou, and Zhangzhou, with these four cities accounting for approximately 80% of our province's total revenue.
In 2024, Fujian's food industry enterprises above the designated size achieved a total revenue of RMB 502.814 billion and a total profit of RMB 32.966 billion. Our province has established a comprehensive industrial system covering agricultural product processing, snack food manufacturing, alcoholic beverage and refined tea production, and tobacco products. Three major food industry clusters in Fuzhou, Zhangzhou, and Quanzhou each surpassed RMB 100 billion in output value.
