Recently, the Sanming Textile Consumer Products Market Expansion and "Four-Chain Integration" Matchmaking Event was held in Minhang District, Shanghai. The event was jointly organized by Orient International (Holding) Co., Ltd., the Shanghai Textile Association, and the Sanming Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau. It aimed to showcase the solid foundation and development potential of Sanming's textile industry, build a bridge for exchange and cooperation between the textile industries of Shanghai and Sanming, and attract leading enterprises in the sector to visit and invest in Sanming for mutual development.

At the event, Fujian Fuqirong New Material Technology Co., Ltd., as a representative of Sanming's textile enterprises, highlighted its special functional fabric products, such as those resistant to cold, high temperatures, and radiation. This fully demonstrated the strength of Sanming's textile products in technological innovation and brand building. Meanwhile, the Shanghai Textile Association and the Sanming Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau signed a cooperation agreement for the "Model Workers and Artisans Assisting Enterprises" initiative. This injects strong talent momentum into the high-quality development of the textile industries in both cities and promotes the deepening and solid advancement of "Four-Chain Integration".

The textile industry is a traditional and advantageous sector for Sanming and a vital component of the city's "433" modern industrial system. As a significant birthplace of the textile industry in Fujian Province, Sanming saw the establishment of the province's earliest textile mill, dyeing and printing mill, and chemical fiber plant. This profound industrial heritage has laid a solid foundation for high-quality industrial development. After years of cultivation, Sanming has formed a comprehensive industrial chain covering chemical fibers, spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing, industrial textiles, and apparel, characterized by complete supporting facilities and strong development resilience.

In recent years, the agglomeration effect of Sanming's textile industry has become prominent, with a clear regional development pattern. Youxi County has been successfully recognized as the "City of China's Base Cloth" and the "City of China's Blended Yarn," while Yong'an City has become a "Base City of China's Emerging Textile Industry." These two areas have become the core pillars supporting the development of Sanming's textile industry. Sanming has nurtured a group of leading enterprises in the sector. Among them, Baohualin's water-soluble yarn series products hold a 60% share of the domestic market, and Xinsen Synthetic Fiber's production capacity of superfine denier nylon ranks 6th globally for similar products. The brand influence of "Sanming Textile" continues to grow.

Currently, Sanming has established an industrial development layout with the urban area of Sanming as the axis, featuring dual-core leadership from Youxi County in the east and Yong'an City in the west, and coordinated support from multiple counties, including Datian, Ninghua, Jianning, and Jiangle. This provides broad space for the high-quality development of the textile industry.
