The 7th China-Arab States Expo took place in Yinchuan, Ningxia, from August 28 to August 31, with participation from seven food companies from Zhangzhou. During the Expo, to enhance the Fujian-Ningxia collaboration, establish a platform for industrial exchange, promote the integration of industrial and supply chains between the two provinces, and assist Zhangzhou's halal food enterprises in expanding their market, the Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Zhangzhou City, in partnership with the Fujian General Chamber of Commerce in Ningxia, jointly organized the Zhangzhou-Yinchuan Industrial Matchmaking and Investment Promotion Conference. Over 60 participants attended, including representatives from the Fujian General Chamber of Commerce in Ningxia, relevant local business associations, enterprises, supermarkets, as well as delegates from the Fujian Trade Promotion Center and Zhangzhou-based companies.

During the event, the Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Zhangzhou City highlighted investment opportunities in key industries in Zhangzhou. Presentations were also made by Xiangcheng District, Zhangpu County, and Ningxia Minning Industrial Park Development Co., Ltd. The Ningxia Food Industry Association and the Ningxia Pre-Made Food Association shared their industry insights. Additionally, a networking session for entrepreneurs facilitated in-depth discussions on potential areas of cooperation between entrepreneurs from both regions.

Since the beginning of this year, the Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Zhangzhou City has been enhancing the effectiveness of private enterprises in attracting investment by adhering to a dual strategy of "going out" and "bringing in". This strategy has involved continuous strengthening of industrial matchmaking and investment promotion efforts. From January to July, the city organized 19 dedicated investment promotion events and facilitated 79 business delegation visits, engaging with 185 private enterprise industrial projects, totaling a planned investment of RMB 25.7 billion. Moving forward, the Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Zhangzhou City will continue to bolster industrial matchmaking and investment promotion by leveraging large-scale exhibitions and trade fairs to create connections between production and sales in key industries and attract investment. The strategy aims to guide enterprises in "going out" to expand markets while also "bringing in" high-quality industrial projects, thereby smoothing industrial and supply chains and promoting high-quality economic development.
