To accelerate the integration of technological and industrial innovation, the “High-Quality SMEs Technology Innovation Demand Matching Event” was recently held at the Xiamen Information Future Hotel. The event was jointly organized by the China SME Development Promotion Center and the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology.

Under the theme “Innovation-Driven, Sowing the Future,” the event gathered government officials, research institutes, financial institutions, and representatives from more than 150 high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises. Through policy briefings, technology roadshows, and demand-matching sessions, the event established a collaborative platform to help Xiamen’s SMEs seize new opportunities in emerging industries.

Ten technology projects with strong industrialization prospects were showcased by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, universities, and research institutions, covering advanced manufacturing, food biotechnology, and green low-carbon sectors.

Many high-quality SMEs participated in matchmaking sessions, holding in-depth discussions with ten research institutions on technology transfer and commercialization. This highlighted the strong synergy between cutting-edge technologies and industry needs. Preliminary statistics indicate that over ten cooperation agreements have already been reached in areas such as industrial intelligent upgrading, biomedical testing, and clean energy applications.
