On May 18, the 2025 China Fuzhou International Investment Promotion Month Launch Ceremony, as well as the Together for Prosperity in Fuzhou: Global Investment Promotion Conference, was held at the Fuzhou Strait International Convention and Exhibition Center. The Conference was hosted by the Fuzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Fuzhou Municipal People's Government, and the Fujian Provincial Bureau of Investment Promotion. Centered on the theme "Together for Prosperity in Fuzhou", it aims to fully leverage the strengths of overseas Chinese businesses, Taiwanese enterprises, and foreign companies. It seeks to build a bridge for communication and cooperation between Fuzhou and businesses around the world, jointly mapping out a blueprint for development and opening a new chapter of shared prosperity.

A total of 38 outstanding investment projects were unveiled at the Conference. These projects were carefully selected in recent years for their significant economic and social benefits, as well as their important contributions to the industrial development of Fuzhou. Notable examples include the Fuyao Glass Intelligent Automotive Safety Glass Production Project, the Luoyuan CATL New Energy Base (Phase I) Project, and the Fujian Benz New Energy Commercial Vehicle Project. These projects cover a range of fields including new energy, new materials, logistics and distribution, offshore wind power, and green metallurgy.

In total, 82 projects were signed at the Conference, with a combined investment exceeding RMB 130 billion. The 40 projects signed together on-site were carefully selected by each level of Fuzhou Municipal People's Government prior to the event, targeting potential business partners attending the Conference, and developed through in-depth engagement. These projects include the Indonesia High-End Aquatic Products Import and Export Trade Project, the China-Thailand Hot Spring Medical and Wellness Project (including a wholly foreign-owned hospital), the LianDo U Valley Industrial Park Project, the Changle Offshore Water Area I (North) Offshore Wind Farm Project, and the Soueast Motor New Energy Supporting Phase II Project, among other major projects.
