A special promotion event focusing on the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises and the integration of AI+ industrial manufacturing was recently held in Fuzhou. According to information gathered by the reporter at the event, Fujian Province ranks second in the country with 70.7% of enterprises having fully digitized key processes.

According to data, Fujian Province has so far promoted over 2,300 small and medium-sized enterprises in Fuzhou, Xiamen, Quanzhou, and Longyan Cities to receive national support as pilots for digital transformation. This effort has led to the establishment of 34 industrial Internet platforms and 301 benchmark enterprises. Additionally, more than 150 “Compact, Swift, Light, and Accurate” solutions have been released, along with the development of empowering products like “AI+Lace Detection” and “AI Fabric Inspection Machine”.

At the end of last year, Fuzhou City initiated a pilot program for the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises. The program selected four sub-sectors with clustering and chain integration characteristics - knitting, cotton spinning, electronics, and auto parts - as pilots. The goal is to complete the digital transformation of more than 530 enterprises in these four industries by the end of 2025.
