The Industry and Information Technology Department of Fujian Province recently released a work plan for the pilot counties (districts) of key industrial chains in the county area of the province. The designated areas include Zhangpu County in Zhangzhou City, Anxi County in Quanzhou City, Licheng District in Putian City, Shaxian District in Sanming City, Youxi County in Sanming City, Jianyang District in Nanping City, Shaowu County-Level City in Nanping City, Shanghang County in Longyan City, Wuping County in Longyan City, and Gutian County in Ningde City. These areas have been selected as pilot counties (districts) for key industrial chains within the county area of the province.

The Work Plan mandates the allocation of resources and efforts to bolster business guidance, improve regional coordination, expand from specific points to broader areas, and strategically address key areas in order to achieve significant advancements in promoting the continuous enhancement of the comprehensive strength of key industrial chains in pilot counties (districts). This will further enhance the quality and efficiency of development, ultimately creating a demonstrative and leading impact.

The Work Plan specifically suggests that the province and cities will work together to promote the relevant initiatives of the pilot counties (districts). It calls for the establishment of a special task force to advance the high-quality development of key industrial chains in the counties, guide the pilot counties (districts) in nurturing and expanding 1-2 key industrial chains, and set up a cross-county key industrial chain coordination mechanism. The province and cities will also compile a list of essential elements required for major projects in the key industrial chains of the pilot counties (districts) and offer coordinated support. In addition, they will actively steer investment funds from all levels of government to bolster the development of key industrial chains in counties, promote financial institutions to create innovative financial products and services and raise the percentage of loans to the manufacturing industry.
