On June 5th , the Fujian Administration for Market Regulation held a kick-off meeting to nurture model enterprises for a fair competition compliance management system, including the protection of trade secrets. The initiative aims to explore new mechanisms and pathways for safeguarding trade secrets, enhance innovation capabilities in key industries, and drive the development of new quality productive forces. Xiamen Solex High-Tech Industries Co., Ltd., Zhangzhou Pien Tze Huang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and Fujian Tianchen Yaolong New Material Co., Ltd. have been chosen as the first batch of pilot enterprises.
Reports indicate that as market competition intensifies, the protection of trade secrets and the establishment of a fair competition compliance management system have become crucial for the sustainable development of enterprises. These measures are also essential components of regular regulatory oversight. The Fujian Administration for Market Regulation, focusing on its roles in antitrust and anti-unfair competition regulation, emphasizes comprehensive competition compliance guidance throughout the entire process—before, during, and after activities. It aims to guide enterprises in fulfilling their compliance responsibilities, establishing and strengthening management systems, and creating a model that seamlessly integrates external supervision with corporate self-regulation. The Administration is actively employing legal principles and methods to oversee corporate behavior, effectively prevent risks, and continuously enhance the standardization of corporate management. The goal is to shift the mindset from “I must comply” to “I want to comply”.
