To focus on accelerating the construction of a province highly capable of advanced manufacturing, from 2024 to 2026, Fujian will establish a special fund for the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry. Aligned with the development direction of intelligence, digitization, premiumization, and greenization, the fund will primarily support six key areas: industrial and technological innovation, upgrading of industrial chains and clusters, optimization of industrial structure, deep integration of digital and physical industries, coordinated development through integration, and promotion of new industrialization.

In terms of industrial and technological innovation, measures will be taken to strengthen the position of businesses as the main innovators, enhance key technology breakthroughs, improve industrial basic capabilities, establish high-level industrial technology innovation platforms, optimize industrial technology innovation services, and cultivate a high-quality talent pool.

In terms of upgrading industrial chains and clusters, efforts will be made to strengthen the cultivation of key industrial chains and county-level industrial chains, deepen the standardization construction of industrial parks, promote the development of advanced manufacturing clusters, coordinate industrial development and security, and enhance the resilience and security of industrial chains and supply chains.

In terms of optimizing the industrial structure, measures will be taken to transform and upgrade traditional industries, consolidate and enhance advantageous industries, accelerate the growth of emerging industries, strategically plan for future industries, vigorously develop modern productive service industries, speed up the development of software and information technology service industries, and drive businesses to improve quality, increase efficiency, and enhance industrial capabilities.

In terms of deeply integrating digital and physical industries, priorities will be established to vigorously promote the transformation of businesses towards intelligence, digitization, networking, and interconnection, facilitate the convergence of digital technology with the manufacturing industry, boost digital transformation services, promote the development of the artificial intelligence industry, and drive the widespread application of next-generation information technology across various sectors.

In terms of coordinated development through integration, efforts will be made to foster high-quality enterprises through a gradient approach, build an ecosystem that facilitates the coordinated development of businesses of any size, optimize the business environment, strengthen the attraction of high-quality projects, support enterprises in increasing production and efficiency, expanding into new markets, promoting stable growth in the industrial sector, promoting international cooperation and opening up of industries, and deepening the integration and development of industries between Fujian and Taiwan.
