Reporters have learned from the Fujian Administration for Market Regulation that they recently issued the Four Lists of Administrative Enforcement Discretion in the Field of Market Regulation in Fujian Province (Revised).
The revised lists include four categories of regulatory actions: non-penalization, penalty reduction, leniency in penalty, and exemption from administrative coercion, totaling 124 cases. More specifically, there are 49 cases of non-penalization, 22 of penalty reduction, 50 of leniency in penalty, and 3 of exemption from administrative coercion. These cases cover various aspects of market regulation, including market entity registration, fair competition, pricing, online transactions, advertising, patents, trademarks, product quality, food safety, metrology, and certification. The revision aims to provide a basis for law enforcement practices and foster a healthy, fair, inclusive, and orderly business environment for various business entities by clearly defining certain circumstances under which leniency in penalty, penalty reduction, or exemption from penalty may be granted.
