Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology recently announced the list of characteristic industry clusters for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Fujian Province for the year 2023. The list features eight clusters across the province, including the Chemical New Materials Industry Cluster in Fuqing City, the Textile Functional New Materials Industry Cluster in Changle District, Fuzhou City; the White Porcelain Industry Cluster in Dehua County; the Building Materials and Home Furnishing Industry Cluster in Nan’an City; the Fluorine New Materials Industry Cluster in Shaowu City; the Machinery and Equipment Industry Cluster in Xinluo District, Longyan City; the New Electronic Components Industry Cluster in Changtai District, Zhangzhou City; and the Xianzuo Redwood Furniture Industry Cluster in Xianyou County. 

In the list of 100 characteristic industry clusters for SMES in 2022 released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology at the beginning of the year, five clusters in Fujian Province were selected as “national-level”, including the User-side New Energy Storage Industry Cluster in Mawei District, Fuzhou City; the Quartz Clock Industry Cluster in Longwen District, Zhangzhou City; the Athletic Footwear Raw and Auxiliary Materials Industry Cluster in Jinjiang City; the Display Module Group and Material Manufacturing Industry Cluster in Wuping County; and the Industrial Robot Industry Cluster in Jimei District, Xiamen City.
