Located in Shuangtai region in Qingkou Town, the park is about 7 km from the center of the town, adjacent to National Highway No.324 and Fuzhou-Xiamen Expressway. The second phase of the High-end New Material Industry Park occupies a land of approximately 1,800 mu (Chinese acres) with 1,550 mu (Chinese acres) having obtained approval of farmland conversion. Leading enterprises such as JP Solar Power (Fujian) Company Limited and Gold Stone (Fujian) Energy Company Limited have been set up in the photovoltaic industry, with accelerated efforts to build a leading heterojunction battery production base in China. The installed capacity of the Lithium-ion power battery of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (CATL) ranks first in the world.
