The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has recently released the list of competitively specialty industrial clusters in 2022. The poultry and egg industrial cluster of western Fujian is on the list.

The project of poultry and egg industrial cluster in western Fujian covers nine county-level cities and subordinate districts, namely, Ninghua County, Qingliu County, Shaxian District of Sanming City, Yong'an City, Datian County, Liancheng County, Xinluo District of Longyan City, Fuqing City and Yongtai County. 

In recent years, China has been giving support to the building of a batch of competitively specialty industrial clusters with an annual output value of 10 billion yuan. As a result, it helps upgrade local traditional industries and accelerate the development of local industrial clusters, the right way forward for these advantageous specialty industrial clusters is jointly development and win-win cooperation. Before this, Fujian Province's two competitively specialty industrial clusters of Wuyi rock tea and edible fungi was approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
