I. Overview

According to preliminary calculation, the annual GDP reached 4,881.036 billion yuan, an increase of 8.0% over the previous year. Among these, the added value of the primary industry reached 289.774 billion yuan, an increase of 4.9%; the added value of the secondary industry stood at 2,286.632 billion yuan, an increase of 7.5%; the added value of the tertiary industry amounted to 2,304.63 billion yuan, an increase of 8.8%. The annual per capita GDP reached 116,939 yuan, an increase of 7.3% year on year.

Throughout the year, 520,100 new urban jobs were created. A total of 246,900 unemployed people in cities and towns were re-employed. At the end of the year, the registered urban unemployment rate stood at 3.33%, down 0.49 percentage points from the end of the previous year.

The annual CPI increased by 0.7% over the previous year. PPI rose by 4.9%. The purchase price of industrial producers increased by 9.2%. The producer prices of agricultural products rose by 4.5%.

II. Agriculture

The total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fishery throughout the year reached 520.097 billion yuan, an increase of 5.1% over the previous year.

The grain planting area was 835,100 hectares, an increase of 0.07 million hectares year on year. The grain output was 5,064,200 tons, an increase of 41,000 tons or 0.8% over the previous year.

The total output of meat, eggs, and milk throughout the year was 3,633,800 tons, an increase of 9.8% over the previous year.

The total output of aquatic products throughout the year reached 8,530,700 tons, an increase of 2.4% over the previous year.

III. Industry and Construction Industry

The total industrial added value throughout the year amounted to 1,778.76 billion yuan, an increase of 9.0% over the previous year. The added value of industrial enterprises above the designated size increased by 9.9%.

Throughout the year, the added value of 32 of the 38 industrial categories above the designated size achieved positive growth.

At the end of the year, the installed power generation capacity was 69.8332 million kilowatts, an increase of 9.6% over the same period in the previous year.

Throughout the year, the profits of industrial enterprises above the designated size reached 435.33 billion yuan, an increase of 24.7% over the previous year.

Throughout the year, the added value of the construction industry reached 514.055 billion yuan, an increase of 2.5% over the previous year

IV. Service Industry

The added value of wholesale and retail trade throughout the year was 555.253 billion yuan, an increase of 15.4% over the previous year; the added value of transportation, warehousing, and postal services was 177.274 billion yuan, an increase of 13.1%; the added value of accommodation and catering industry was 69.623 billion yuan, an increase of 14.2%; the added value of the financial industry was 362.307 billion yuan, an increase of 5.2%; the added value of the real estate industry was 281.392 billion yuan, an increase of 4.8%. The operating income of service enterprises above the designated size increased by 22.3% over the previous year.
