According to the news from the press conference held by the Information Office of Fujian Provincial People’s Government on the 16th, during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Fujian Province has deployed ten key projects, such as "Dual Gigabit" network, scale application of "5G + industrial internet" and scale application of mobile IoT (M-IoT), to promote the high-quality development of information communication industry. 

Up to now, Fujian province has created nearly 300 cases of 5G application innovation and over 150 "5G + industrial internet" projects, forming many typical application scenarios including remote equipment control and flexible manufacturing. More than 10 projects, including Fuzhou Urban Investment and XOCT Smart Wharf, have been shortlisted as national-level pilot demonstration projects, driving local investment of RMB 2 billion. 

During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Fujian Province will further promote the integration and development of "5G + industrial internet", drive the penetration of 5G applications from peripheral auxiliary stage to core production stage, and create a number of 5G fully connected factories. It will implement the " New Infrastructure Special Initiative" for park standardization construction, promote the large-scale innovative application of industrial internet signs in production, supply and circulation, and other stages. Encourage and guide basic telecom enterprises to promote 5G terminal consumption and speed up the migration of users to 5G through package upgrade discounts, purchase via credit, and other measures. The province will also promote 5G+4K/8K, 5G+VR/AR, network audio and visual, live matches, games and entertainment, virtual shopping, and other applications to accelerate the cultivation of new information consumption patterns.
