In 2025, the value-added of above-designated-size electronics and information technology manufacturing in Fujian Province increased by 13.6%, achieving an operating revenue of RMB 108.54 billion. The industry scale ranks 7th nationwide. A favorable development momentum has been formed in sub-industries such as integrated circuits, new display technologies, LEDs, computers and network communication equipment, and lithium-ion batteries. The output value of clusters like integrated circuits and optoelectronics, as well as the lithium-ion battery industries, exceeds RMB 200 billion. 12 enterprises with revenues exceeding RMB 10 billion have been cultivated, including CATL, Amperex Technology Limited, Dell, AUO, TPV Technology, San'an Optoelectronics, Tianma Microelectronics (Xiamen), Hongfa Electroacoustic, Hithium, Ruijie Networks, and Fuzhou BOE Optoelectronics Technology. The province boasts 5 national-level new industrialization demonstration bases for the electronic and information industry, including Xiamen Torch High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Fuqing Rongqiao Economic & Technological Development Zone, Fuzhou Economic & Technological Development Zone, Yunxiao Yunling Development Zone, and Putian High-Tech Industrial Development Zone.
In 2025, Fujian Province had 501 above-designated-size metallurgical enterprises, achieving an operating revenue of RMB 774.28 billion, a growth of 4.3%. Industries like steel, aluminum, copper, and tungsten have largely formed a development pattern driven by leading enterprises. They are mainly distributed in Ningde, Longyan, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Zhangzhou, and Sanming. Enterprises such as Tsingshan Group, Zijin Mining Group, Fujian Great Donghai Corporation, Sansteel Group, Sanbao Group, Xiamen Tungsten, Baosteel Desheng Stainless Steel, China Copper Southeast Copper, Nanping Aluminum, Hongwang, and Yongjin have revenues exceeding RMB 10 billion. Fujian's advantageous metallurgical products hold significant positions domestically. Production of stainless steel, tungsten processed materials, and cathode materials for consumer electronic lithium batteries ranks first nationwide. The quality of products like ultra-fine grain cemented carbide rods, double-zero aluminum foil, and high-performance rare earth magnetic materials reaches internationally advanced levels. The output value of high-value-added products such as cold-rolled thin steel sheets, stainless steel plates and strips, aluminum profiles for IT products, special-purpose pipe fittings, and precision accessories accounts for over 40% of the province's total, with product quality reaching internationally advanced levels.
