Electronic Information Industry
In 2024, the added value of Fujian's electronic information manufacturing industry above the designated scale grew by 1.8% year-on-year, generating revenue of RMB 940.4 billion, securing the 7th position nationwide. The integrated circuits, optoelectronics, and lithium-ion battery industrial clusters each exceed RMB 200 billion in scale. Our province hosts 5 national new-type industrialization demonstration bases for the electronic information industry, including Xiamen Torch High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Fuqing Rongqiao Economic & Technological Development Zone, Fuzhou Economic & Technological Development Zone, Yunxiao Yunling Development Zone, and Putian High-Tech Industrial Development Zone.
The Artificial Intelligence industry is primarily concentrated in Fuzhou and Xiamen. Fujian Province has introduced policies such as the Ten Measures to Promote the Development of the Artificial Intelligence Industry and established three provincial-level AI industrial parks in Fuzhou, Xiamen, and Quanzhou.
