The 23rd China-ASEAN Summit, which is held via video link, on Nov 12th , 2020. As one of the achievements of the Summit, China and the ASEAN issued a joint report on the 10-Year Development of the ASEAN-China Free Trade Area Since Its Full Establishment (hereinafter referred to as “Report”).

This Report summaries the milestones and achievements of ASEAN-China Free Trade Area ( ACFTA) since its full establishment, ACFTA is playing a vital role in promoting balanced and steady growth of bilateral trade and investment, combating against the COVID-19 situation, jointly keeping the regional industrial and supply chains stable and etc., meanwhile, it makes arrangements for further improve the implementation of ACFTA and its Upgrading Protocol.

Next step, China will continue to work with ASEAN to upgrade our cooperation in AFTCA across the board, and further unleashing the benefits of AFTCA for the people and enterprises of ASEAN and China.
