The notice of Support Innovation and Development of Top 10 Key Development Zones has been released by the Department of Commerce of Fujian Province, it aimed at fostering a batch of large-scale development zones which possess the characteristics of undertaking foreign investment and enjoying nationwide influence and popularity.

The Top 10 Key Development Zones, namely Fuzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, Fuqing Rongqiao Economic And Technological Development Zone, Xiamen Torch Development Zone, Xiamen Haicang Taiwanese Investment Zone，Zhangzhou Taiwanese Investment Zone, Quanzhou Taiwanese Investment Zone, Quanzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, Putian Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone, Longyan Economic and Technological Development Zone and Dongqiao Economic and Technological Development Zone, including 5 national level Economic and Technological Development Zones, 3 national level Taiwanese Investment Zones and 2 national level Hi-tech Zones. The gross industrial output value, actually utilized foreign capital and  total export value in provincial-wide development zones is 32.6%, 47.1% and 40.2% respectively. 

The relevant provincial and municipal authorities will establish a liaison mechanism with these Key Development Zones, meanwhile, target at the existing problems in development process, help to analyze the problems, coordinate in solving the problems, and boost the development rapidly. Department of Commerce of Fujian Province will play an actively role in recommending and organizing the Key Development Zones to attend the relevant brokerage events, moreover, introducing Fortune Global 500, Top 100 Major enterprises of Taiwan, World Industry Leading Enterprises projects to these Key Development Zones and following up the progress of the project development. 

The expanding of Top 10 Key Development Zones need to optimized through dynamic management by the Department of Commerce of Fujian Province, according to the evaluation result of the annual comprehensive development level among the national and provincial development zones, the dynamic management will be adjusted every two years.
