Introduction

Fuqing Rongqiao Economic And Technological Development Zone (hereinafter referred to as the Zone) was founded in 1987. In 1992, with the State Council’s approval, it was promoted as a state-level economic and technological development zone. The zone has developed into multi-functional high-tech complex that integrates the National Display Device Industrial Park, National New Industrialization Industry Demonstration Base and National Flat-panel Display High and New Technology Industrialization Base.

The Zone is closely around center of fuqing city, the No. 324 National Road and Shen Hai Expressway crosses the entire district, and the Fuzhou New Port Pier, Yuanhong Port Pier and Fuzhou Changle International Airport is in nearby area, meanwhile, the provided supporting facilities and infrastructure are all in readiness, including road, water and electricity network, sewage pipe line, network, education, health center, cultural center, entertainment center and etc.

In 2016, the Zone houses 135 industrial enterprises which above designated size. The industrial output totals 84.321 billion RMB, increasing by 4.34%, Investment in fixed assets was 27.5 billion RMB, an increase of 74.75%, of which the industrial fixed investment reached 24.178 billion RMB, up to 149.25%, the above scale industrial tax accomplished 1.152 billion RMB, increasing by 21.64%, the actual use of foreign investment ran up to 114.41 million USD, an increase of 41.09%. 

Electronic Information Industry is the leading industry of the Zone, TPV and BOE lead the way, it has already integrated 43 relevant enterprises include LCD TV, LCD monitor, LCM module, LCD panel, glass substrate, polaroid, diffuser, sequins, reflector plate, SMT, chemical gases, backlight modules, PCB, metal parts and plastic parts manufacture. In 2016, the output value was 36.575 billion RMB, tax revenue reached 507 million RMB.

1. Fujian Minwei Food Co., Ltd. (Singapore), with investment amount totals 60 million USD

2. Photoelectric Technology (Fujian) Co., Ltd. (Brunei), with the total investment amount to 299 million USD

3. L&T Display Technology (Fujian) Ltd., with the total investment reached 50 million USD
