Introduction

Fujian Fuqing Jiangyin Economic Development Zone, as the Provincial Level Economic Development Zone, which is located in the Jiangyin Peninsula, the famous hometown of Overseas Chinese on the southern coast of Fuqing City. It has a obvious geographical advantage that situated on the middle of the inshore  coastline, adjacent to Taiwan Strait on the east, bordered by Jiangxi and Hunan, etc. provinces to the west, and north-south to connect the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone and the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone. The overall planning area is 158.29 square kilometers, includes 121.3 square kilometers within the Core Area of National Level Fuzhou New District, which covers 800 square kilometers planning range. 

After 15 years of development, the zone provided gradually with good infrastructure and supporting facilities, as well as boost industrial agglomeration of relevant projects rapidly. The leading industries include port transportation, modern logistics, petrochemical new materials and machinery and equipment manufacturing and etc., which has been formed completely. So far, a number of industry leaders include Yaolong Chemical, Southeast Electrochemical, Tianchen Yaolong, Zhongjin Petrochemical, the Three Gorges Offshore Wind Power Equipment Industrial Park and etc., are accommodated in the zone. In 2016, the actual use of foreign capital amounts to 80 million USD. Until now, it covers a series of Asia countries and regions’ investment enterprises, such as Fuzhou New Port Container, Fuzhou Fuxing Medicine, Poly-tech Technology and etc. In 2016, the annual turnover of Fuzhou Newport container is 2.37 billion RMB, Fuzhou Fuxing Medicine’s output value amounts to 410 million RMB, Polytech Technology’s output value yielded 210 million RMB. Currently, some enterprise projects include Galaxy International Automotive Complex, Fuxing Lubricants, Dongjin Semichem and so on, which invested by Asia countries and regions are being pushed forward closely.
