From July 20 to 22, the 2026 Nanping Culture and Tourism Industry Investment Promotion Event, hosted by the Nanping Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and Wuyi Tourism Group, was held in Wuyishan City. Focusing on the theme of wellness tourism development, the event precisely connected with the Trip.com Group Culture &Tourism Industry Alliance, inviting 20 high-quality enterprises across various industrial segments—such as wellness tourism, cycling operations, and family educational tours—to form a delegation to visit Nanping for inspection and negotiation, helping the Greater Wuyi wellness tourism industry improve its quality and upgrade.
This event consisted of two main sessions: field research and discussions. The delegation successively visited key cultural and tourism sites such as the Wuyi Fjord Family Educational Tour Base, Mount Wuyi Forest Wellness Town, Sixin Logging Camp, Zhuxi Cultural Town at Wufu Town, Chajing Village at Shangmei Township, and Liu Yong Cultural Park, conducting close-up inspections of Nanping's industrial foundations in ecological wellness and cultural educational tours. At the special symposium held on July 22, Nanping City collectively promoted investment projects including Wuyi Hundred Villages, Forest Wellness Town, and Huayang Mountain Ecological Wellness; government and enterprise representatives exchanged views on investment opportunities, policy support, and project landing guarantees. In response to various questions raised by the enterprises, relevant functional departments answered them on the spot and addressed their cooperation demands.
Enterprise representatives participating in the inspection stated that Nanping boasts a superior ecology, profound cultural heritage, and huge potential for wellness tourism development. Many enterprises reached preliminary cooperation intentions, and the next step will be to connect with investment policies based on their own resources, advance the implementation of cooperation, and work together to expand Nanping's wellness culture and tourism industry.
