The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently announced the first list of 16 cities designated to establish National New Industrialization Demonstration Zones, with Quanzhou City in our province making the list.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated in a notice that the selected cities should refine their implementation plans, strengthen organizational support, and improve policy measures in line with the objectives set for the establishment period. This is to ensure the thorough execution of all demonstration tasks. The cities are expected to achieve a series of exemplary and pioneering outcomes in areas such as improving the industrial technology innovation system, advancing industrial structural optimization and upgrading, promoting digital and intelligent transformation in industry, accelerating green and low-carbon industrial development, strengthening the tiered cultivation of high-quality enterprises, and enhancing the modernization level of industrial governance. These efforts are intended to provide leading, radiating, and driving effects in advancing new industrialization.

During the establishment period, enhanced guidance, supervision, and policy support will be provided to the selected cities to ensure the effective creation of the demonstration zones.
