Recently, the low-altitude economy sector in Xiamen has gained significant momentum with the registration of Xiamen Low-Altitude Economy Industry Development Co., Ltd. and Xiamen Low-Altitude Economy Management Services Co., Ltd.
Both companies are wholly owned by Xiamen Iport Aviation Industry Investment Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Xiamen state-owned enterprise Iport Group. Their legal representative is Li Zhenglin, and each company has a registered capital of RMB10 million. This marks a substantial step forward in the industrial layout of Xiamen’s low-altitude economy.
From the perspective of business scope, the two companies have clearly defined roles while complementing each other, collectively covering the core areas of the low-altitude economy. Specifically, Xiamen Low-Altitude Economy Industry Development Co., Ltd. focuses on industrial cultivation and service extension. Its licensed projects include key operations such as civil airport management, general aviation services, maintenance of civil aircraft, and personnel training. At the same time, it is involved in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence industry application system integration, satellite navigation services, and intelligent unmanned aerial vehicle manufacturing, forming a business matrix of “fundamental services + technology empowerment.” Xiamen Low-Altitude Economy Management Services Co., Ltd., in turn, emphasizes operational management and supporting services. Building on general aviation services and civil aircraft maintenance training, it further expands into civil aircraft pilot training, flight instruction, emergency rescue services, and safety technology training for special operations personnel. It also covers supporting services such as park management and satellite communication, providing full-chain support for the development of the low-altitude economy.
Xiamen is currently making every effort to build a “4+4+6” modern industrial system, with emerging industries such as commercial aerospace, aerospace information, and the low-altitude economy identified as key areas for cultivation, aiming to accelerate the unleashing of new quality productive forces. Industry experts believe that the establishment of these two specialized companies will further integrate Xiamen’s advantages in the aviation industry, state-owned enterprise resources, and technological innovation. This will promote synergistic development across the upstream and downstream sectors of the low-altitude economy and help Xiamen build a more complete low-altitude economic ecosystem.
