A key industry supply-demand matchmaking event, titled “Gathering Momentum, Empowering Growth: Building Industrial Chains to Connect the Cities”, was recently held in Liancheng County, Longyan City, under the Fujian Provincial Industrial Enterprise Supply-Demand Matchmaking Platform. The event focused on Liancheng County's distinctive industries, such as new building materials and food processing, while promoting an innovative county-level economic model of “chain development + distinctive industries” via the platform. Nearly 100 leading enterprises from Longyan and Xiamen in the building materials and food industries participated, with close to 3,000 attendees joining online. 10 high-quality cooperation projects were signed on-site, totaling RMB 755 million in intended investment.
The event targeted the industrial chain needs by organizing over 20 key enterprises in Liancheng County to showcase their specialized products. Universities such as Fujian University of Technology, along with service providers like China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation and Postal Savings Bank of China, were invited to engage with businesses. Preliminary “one-on-one” matchmaking sessions with cross-border e-commerce firms enabled precise connections between local enterprises and cross-border e-commerce service providers, bolstering their global expansion efforts. Additionally, local companies like Super Tech and Yunsheng Composite Materials established two university-industry partnerships with Jimei University and Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, effectively bridging scientific research with corporate technological demands.
