The Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology has announced the 2025 list of specialized industrial clusters for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Fujian Province. This year, 25 new clusters have been designated as specialized industrial clusters for SMEs.
Among the newly recognized clusters, Quanzhou leads with 11, including the Licheng District Footwear and Apparel New Materials Industrial Cluster and the Luojiang District Sanitary Care Products Industrial Cluster. Xiamen has 4 clusters, such as the Xiang’an District Intelligent Power Transmission and Distribution Industrial Cluster. Fuzhou has 3, including the Gulou District Artificial Intelligence Application Software Industrial Cluster. Zhangzhou and Longyan each have 2 clusters, including the Xiangcheng District Intelligent CNC Electronic Equipment Industrial Cluster in Zhangzhou and the Shanghang County Advanced Gold and Copper Processing Industrial Cluster in Longyan. Sanming, Putian, and Nanping each have 1 cluster: the Sanyuan District Engineering Equipment Components Industrial Cluster, the Licheng District Gold and Jewelry Industrial Cluster, and the Guangze County White Feather Broiler Industrial Cluster, respectively.
Currently, Fujian boasts two national-level advanced manufacturing clusters, sixteen national-level specialized industry clusters for SMEs, and sixty provincial-level specialized industry clusters for SMEs. These clusters have become significant regional brands and key drivers of the province’s industrial development.
