A 100-watt picosecond laser designed for high-precision industrial laser processing, an amphibious intelligent operational platform for unmanned inspections across diverse water environments, and a pioneering continuous bamboo green skin bending process for sustainable material regeneration—these groundbreaking technologies were among the highlights showcased by the Fujian delegation at the 26th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), held in Shenzhen from November 14 to 16.
The CHTF, recognized as the Most Tnfluential Technology Show in China, serves as a vital bridge to the global market for the nation’s high-tech sector and a dynamic platform for the exchange and trade of cutting-edge technological innovations. In CHTF 2024, the Fujian delegation was organized by the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Provincial Institute of Innovation, and the Provincial Government Representative Office in Shenzhen. A total of 24 entities, including high-tech enterprises, investment and financing institutions, and research institutes, participated in the exhibition, showcasing 26 technological achievements. The Fujian delegation also presented 68 projects through thematic promotional videos and compilations of achievements, highlighting the province’s progress in turning scientific and technological results into practical momentum, advancing collaboration across government, industry, academia, research, and application, as well as achieving precise alignment between innovation and industrial chains achieved in recent years.
On the opening day of CHTF, the Fujian Delegation Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Matchmaking Conference, hosted by the Provincial Department of Science and Technology and organized by the Provincial Technology Achievement Transformation Center, took place. During the event, 12 provincial technological demands were released, and 16 cooperative projects were signed on-site, including regional innovation collaboration, industry-academia-research collaboration, and technology finance initiatives benefiting enterprises. The total contract value reached 397 million yuan, including 375 million yuan for technology finance initiatives and 21.73 million yuan for other projects.
