Fujian is a significant manufacturing province, with traditional industries comprising a large portion of its industrial structure. Since the start of this year, based on the actual situation of its key industries, Fujian has been prioritizing intelligent reform and digital transformation of traditional industries to meet the needs of transformation. This focus is aimed at promoting industrial innovation and developing new quality productive forces that are suitable for local conditions.

Fujian has currently established more than 40 national and provincial-level industrial internet platforms, offering digital solutions to over 4,000 enterprises. The percentage of businesses with fully digitized key operational processes is at 69.5%, which is one of the highest nationwide.

In addition to revitalizing the traditional manufacturing sector, Fujian is also enhancing the role of enterprises as the primary drivers of technological innovation. To promote the close integration of the industrial chain and innovation chain, Fujian has been encouraging enterprises and research institutions to set up around 300 provincial-level key innovation platforms. These platforms are dedicated to areas such as new materials for footwear and apparel, specialty steel manufacturing, and machine vision, aiming to constantly bring new energy to new quality productive forces.
