On August 20, at the 2023 China Top 500 Enterprises Summit held in Hefei, Anhui Province, China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association released the list of the Top 500 Chinese Enterprises for the 22nd consecutive time. According to Fujian Provincial Enterprise Federation, a total of 23 enterprises in the province made it to the Top 500 list, an addition of four companies compared to last year, reaching a new record high. In addition, 22 enterprises from Fujian Province were included in the Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises list, and 41 enterprises from Fujian Province were shortlisted in the Top 500 Service Enterprises list, both recording an addition of one company compared to last year.

Among the 23 listed companies in Fujian Province, there are 12 state-owned enterprises and 11 private enterprises. Specifically, the top three companies are from Xiamen, namely Xiamen Construction and Development Group Co., Ltd., Xiamen ITG Co., Ltd., and Xiamen Xiangyu Group Co., Ltd., ranking 21st, 29th, and 42nd on the list, respectively, all of which have risen in their spot compared to last year. Industrial Bank Co., Ltd., CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited), and Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd. rank 67th, 85th, and 100th, respectively. These six companies from Fujian are among the top 100, an addition of two companies compared to last year, setting a new record in the number of companies.

Apart from the above Fujian enterprises, the remaining companies that made it to the top 500 list are: Great Donghai Corporation, Yonghui Supermarket, Xiamen R&B Group, Fujian Energy and Petrochemical Group, HSCC, Eversun Holdings, Zhongjing Petrochemical, Fujian Provincial Port Group, Billion Polyester, Zhangzhou Jiulongjiang Group, Fujian Electronics & Information Group, Jinlun Fiber Shareholding, Sangang Group, Sanbao Group, Xiamen Port, Anta Sports, Xiamen Tungsten Co., Ltd. Among them, Billion Polyester, Zhangzhou Jiulongjiang Group, Jinlun Fiber Shareholding, Sanbao Group, and Xiamen Tungsten Industry are newly additions this year.
